ROLLING PRAIRIE CORVETTE CLUB

    We decided we had a nice time and enjoyed the NCRS 2008 show. Whatever we did, whatever we got was going to be fine with us. We met some really nice, friendly people, had a GREAT time, and enjoyed ourselves, the resort, Galena and our trip so much we felt anything else we got from here on out was just icing on the cake. 

    Next morning during breakfast we said our goodbyes prior to the announcing of the NCRS awards. Our table had a lot of Top Flight winners.  Every one was very deserving of their award and each one shared the moment.

   When Jerry's name was called everyone there knew our car, how many miles it had on it and how much we were hoping for a second or even thIRd place showing. When the announcement was about to be made there was a silence in the room until the words Jerry Johnson and his 1984 corvette  "TOP FLIGHT"  award. A big YEAH went up from our table as a stunned Jerry Johnson  took possession of that big blue ribbon. It was one of those moments when you know all that hard work was worth it!

This is a memory we will carry with us for many years, not just because we won, but because we made some great friends. If you have not attended an NCRS event in the Galena area we highly recommend the experience to everyone!
