When we decided to try our luck at the NCRS we thought it would be a good experience. We went expecting little but we came away with a lot more.

Our first stop was so we could make some adjustments to the car along the way.

Final Stop was Chestnut Mountain Resort 14 miles from Galena.

The first night everyone met in the parking lot of the lodge to meet, wash their cars, and just socialize.
Of course there was a cook out. How can you have a corvette meet without a cook out?

It was a nice opportunity to met new friends,
get some paper work filled out and have a good time.

All Cleaned up for the big day tomorrow......1984 Corvette.
SHUTDOWN 2008
Rain started early that a.m., but didn't slow things down much. Within 30 minutes the rain was gone, the temps
rose and we had a nice sunny day for the remainder of the show.

NCRS Judges going over the serial numbers and condition of our 1984 corvette.
Check list for the engine.
Operation check
More checks under the hood.
After the judging all that remains is dinner that night, and the awards ceremony the next morning at breakfast......
